In order to raise the awareness of the youth to the society, and their passion to contribute, as well as responding to the liberal study education, the Dragon Foundation has organized a series of film screening events to look into the different current social and global issues. The Foundation has invited corresponding experts to share their points of views based on the movie and their expertise, and also share, discuss and exchange ideas with some outstanding students and young leaders. The first two movies in the series, Hidden in America, and The 11 th Hour, which talked about poverty and environmental protection respectively, has been shown and shared with the youth in February and May in 2009. The third movie screening was held on March 17, 2010. The movie shared was Dead Poets Society and topic shared was education and sustainable development of students. We are glad to invited Mr. William Rada from The US Consulate General and education expert Mr. Ip Kin-yuen as our guest speakers to share their unique views on the topic with the participants. |
